Mona Zeineldin is a seasoned investment and corporate banking executive with over 25 years of experience across the GCC and North Africa . She has held senior leadership roles at Citibank, Barclays, Union National Bank (now ADCB), and others—spearheading complex fund raising transactions, syndicated debt transactions, major corporate restructurings, and financial institution advisory in sectors ranging from energy to industrial services .

With deep expertise in Equity, structured and syndicated finance, Mona has played a central role in executing high-value debt issuances and restructurings for large corporates in the region. She has also been a trusted advisor on Islamic finance, green financing, and Shariah-compliant instruments.

Mona is a certified International Sustainable Finance Advisor (IASE) grounded in a strong academic foundation with an MSc in Investment & Banking from the University of Reading, an MBA in International Business from Maastricht, and a BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo.

As a practicing trainer and lecturer in structured finance, ESG/Sustainability, credit risk, and corporate restructuring since 2003, Mona is equally at home in boardrooms and executive classrooms—bridging the gap between technical rigor and strategic insight .

Today, she leads ESG Terra with a focus on advising clients on capital raising across debt and equity focusing on companies within the sustainable economy, and navigating sustainable finance strategies—helping companies and financial institutions structure credible, impactful, and investment-grade financing solutions.
